"Never before in history, has the world ever appreciated healthcare workers before, especially nurses. Nurses are, in part, the true life savers in healthcare. Yes the providers and aides all have their place. They’re the ones who alert the providers with your medical conditions. The nurses are there to hold your hand when your family can’t be there. They’re there when you receive good news and bad news. Tell nurses and other healthcare workers how much you appreciate them. Show them a token of love in some fashion."

Philadelphians and people in general can help health care workers by taking this time to educate themselves on ways to build their immune system by increasing the intake of foods such as broccoli, potatoes strawberries/blueberries, oranges,ginger, garlic etc. Another thing they can educate on is the proper use of wearing gloves(single use)or just leave them to the medical professionals because they are causing more cross contamination in the stores.
